Wilma "Polly" Lee Ridner

Wilma Lee Ridner, better known as Polly, passed from this life on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at her home in Parkers Lake, Kentucky at the age of 61.

She was born February 23, 1962 in Whitley City, Kentucky to the late Marvin Goins and Perlina (Caldwell) Goins.

In addition to her parents, Polly is preceded in death by her husband, Finley Ridner; sons, Mickle Goins and Toby Ridner; a grandson, Dalton Perry; and brothers, Donald and Hudy Goins.

Surviving family include her sons, Benjamin Goins (and Melissa), Brandon Goins (and Lisa), BJ Goins (and Melissa), Braxton Goins (and Sharlene), Finley Goins (and Crystal-Pooh), and Dino Ridner; a daughter, Veron Lynn Fuson (and James); brothers, Dave Goins (and Doris) and Dewayne Goins; and a sister, Wanda Goins, all of the Parkers Lake area.

Also surviving are Polly’s grandchildren she loved dearly, Brianna, Ryan, Dekeeton and Trevor Jones, Brenton, Connor, Carlee, Baylee, Brooklynn, Jayden, Stacey, Estle, and Willie Goins, Amanda-Gail, McKayla Sumner, Emileigh, Hunter, and Haygen Goins, Kaitlynn Elmore, Brooklynn and Austin Goins, Samantha, Justin, Thadius, Sierra, and Boo-Boo Ridner; as well as numerous great-grandchildren and extended family.

Polly was a homemaker. She loved nothing more than caring for her family, working in her garden, and doing yard work. She also enjoyed playing games, but above all, Polly loved being with her grandbabies.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Rock Branch Cemetery with Bro. Tyler Longsworth officiating.
