Wilma Jean Jones

Wilma Jean Jones age 70 of Somerset, Kentucky, formerly of Whitley City, passed from this life on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

She was born on May 15, 1951 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Theodore Kenneth Roberts and Edna Waters.

In addition to her parents, Wilma is preceded in death by her husband, Tommie Jones; a daughter, Melissa Bruner; brothers, Frank, William Ellis "Bill", and Jimmy Roberts; and sisters, Mary Lou Jones and Ruth Ann Roberts.

Surviving family include her son, Jeremy Jones (and Andrea) of Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri; grandchildren, Jasmine and Breighlyn Jones; and a sister, Jewel Stephens of Williamsburg.

Wilma enjoyed watching TV and spending time with her family. In past time, she enjoyed going to the hair and nail salon. The passing of Wilma will be mourned by all who knew and loved her. But as she would always say, "this isn't goodbye. It's just I'll see ya later".

Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 20, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Casada officiating. Burial is to follow in the Angel Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday after 12:00 noon until service time.
