WILLIE "JACK" TAYLOR

Willie “Jack” Taylor of Parkers Lake, Kentucky passed from this life Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at Baptist Health Corbin Hospital.  He had attained the age of 59 years, four months and two days.

Funeral services were held Saturday June 21, 2014 at 12:00 noon at the Eagle Creek United Baptist Church with burial in the Eagle Creek Cemetery. Visitation  from 10:00am until funeral time Saturday. 

Jack was born February 15, 1955, in Honey Bee, Kentucky.  He was the eight child of Lanceo and Helen (Ball) Taylor.  He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Buddy Joe Taylor and sisters; Thelma Joyce Renfro, Laura Jane Godby, Evelyn Mutters and Jada Taylor.

Jack leaves behind to mourn his passing, two brothers; Justin Taylor of Lima, Ohio and David Taylor of Whitley City, Kentucky, two sisters; June Mackey (and William) of Corbin, Kentucky, and Juanita Freeman (and Deward) of Whitley City, Kentucky, Brothers-in-law; Gordon Godby of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, Andrew (Pete) Mutters of Cincinnati, Ohio, and sister-in-law; Pearlena Taylor of Stearns, Kentucky. 

He also leaves behind numerous nephews and nieces whom he loved dearly.

Jack enjoyed watching t.v., piecing quilts and doing the Sunday crossword puzzle.  After many, many years of suffering, it is the family’s hope that you have eternal peace and are “breathing easy.”
