WILLIE DANIEL ANDERSON

Mr. Willie Daniel Anderson, age 68 of Pine Knot, passed away on Wednesday May 6, 2009 at the McCreary Health and Rehab Center in Pine Knot.

Funeral service will be Saturday May 9, 2009 at 12pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. William Kilby officiating. Burial will follow in the T. Chitwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6-9 at Pine Knot Funeral Home. A fellowship meal for family and friends will be hosted on Saturday following burial services at the Fellowship Hall of the East Pine Knot Tabernacle Church of God.

He was born in Pine Knot on February 7, 1941 to the late Starlin and Nellie Litton Anderson. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Anderson and a sister, Tava Sammons.

Survivors include a brother, Johnny Anderson of Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky and a sister, Rose Young of Chicago, IL. And his only surviving aunt, Mary Anderson of Niles, IL. There are several neices and nephews also surviving.

Daniel was of the Church of God faith and attended the McCreary County Senior Citizens.
