William England

William England Jr., age 62, of Windsor Heights, Iowa, passed away at his home on July 17, 2023. 
Wiliam was born in North Carolina on February 8, 1961 to the late William England and Yuko (Okimoto) England. He served as a submarine nuclear propulsion plant operator and instructor and certified diver in the United States Navy from 1987 to 1995, during that time he rose to the rank of Petty Officer First Class and earned a Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, a National Defense Service Medal, a Meritorious Service Medal, and a Third Good Conduct Award. After leaving the navy he worked as an electrical engineer and Rockwell Collins. During his tenure at Rockwell Collins, he won engineer of the year. During his free time, he enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by: his mother; his sons, Drake England, of Pine Knot, KY, Braden England, of Puquoson, VA; brothers, Jim England, Bob England; sister, Sue Paxton; and grandchildren, Jaxon, Zofiah, Emily, Jace, Aubrey, and Addison. 
William was cremated and his ashes were interred in the Mill Springs National Cemetery on Wednesday, September 6, 2023. 
Military Honors were provided by the Jellico Honor Guard, the United States Department of the Navy, and the Patriot Guard Riders of Kentucky.
