William "Ed" Edward Perry

William “Ed” Edward Perry, 74, of Jeffersonville, IN, passed away on August 3, 2019 surrounded by his family. 

Funeral services will take place at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, IN.  Visitation will take place from 2 to 8 PM on Tuesday and after 9 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home.  A graveside service will take place at 3:00 PM on Wednesday at Walnut Ridge Cemetery Mausoleum, following a final lap at the Sportsdrome Speedway. 

Ed loved his racing, cars and anything with four wheels.  He was a former racer at the Sportsdrome Speedway and spent countless hours and weekends with family and friends at the track. 

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia A. Fenwick; and mother, Alma Thomas.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Betty Perry; son, Billy Perry (Jayne); father, Starling Perry; siblings, Sandy Lovett (Ronald), and June Bennett; brother-in-law, Willy Solomon; four grandchildren, Damien Perry (Bridgette), Corey Perry, Timi Fenwick, and Chloe Perry; loving niece, Jessica Richards; and a host of extended family and friends.
