Willard Clay Perkins

Willard Clay Perkins, age 73 of Strunk, KY, formerly of Winfield, TN, passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at his home. He was born on December 15, 1942, to the late John Perkins and the late Pearl Strunk Perkins.

He worked as a machinist at MCM for sixteen years. He enjoyed talking about the machines he ran and special projects he had worked on over the years. He often talked about how fond he was of his coworkers. He was a kind and loving son, husband, father, and friend who will be missed by all.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the love of his life Louetta, his siblings, Bertha, Dillard and Gertie and his grandparents.

He is survived by his children: son, Travis Perkins and wife Amanda of Somerset, Kentucky, daughter, Danielle Barlow and husband Bruce of Science Hill Kentucky and son, Leamon Perkins and wife Lisa of Pine Knot Kentucky; his grandchildren, Billy Perkins and wife Miranda of Pine Knot, Kentucky, Bruce Perkins and wife Jessica of Pine Knot, Kentucky, Samantha Moore of Somerset, Kentucky and Jake Barlow and wife Nicole of Summerville, South Carolina; his great grandchildren, Rebekah, Amelyah, Lydiah, Jase Perkins of Pine Knot, Kentucky, LilyAnne and Weston Perkins of Pine Knot, Kentucky and Aleah Moore, Lexi Turner and Caisen Van Lucas of Science Hill, Kentucky; his siblings: sister, Betty Stanley and husband Paul and brother, Paul Perkins and wife Patricia of Oneida, Tennessee.

Friends may visit with the Perkins family on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 12 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home.

Committal service will follow in the New Light Cemetery in Winfield.
