WILLA ROSS PIERCE

Willa Ross Pierce, age 63 of Pine Knot passed away on Friday September 15, 2006 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset.

A celebration of Life will be Monday morning at 11am in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest in the Kingtown Cemetery.

She was born in Pine Knot on April 22, 1943 to the late Thornton Estol and Myrtle Mae King Daugherty. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Holly Ross, a sister, Gloria Marilyn Daugherty and an infant brother.

Surviving family are her husband Warren Pierce whom she married November 25, 2000 at the Pine Knot Southern Baptist Church. A son, Anthony Ross, and step son, Timothy Warren Pierce. There are 2 brothers, Gene Daugherty and his wife Aileen and Thornton Estol Daugherty and his wife Catherine. Willa has 2 grandsons, Bronson and Devin Matthew Ross and a step grandson, Timothy Tyler Pierce
