WILDA L. WRIGHT

Mrs. Wilda L. Wright, age 80, of Pine Knot, Kentucky, passed away Friday, June 13, 2008, at the St. Mary's North Hospital in Knoxville, Tennessee. Funeral services were held Monday, June 16, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. Landon Sexton and Rev. Wendell Hill officiating. She was laid to rest in the Upper Cal Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Wright was a homemaker and member of the Sulfur Springs Baptist Church. She was born in Pine Knot, Kentucky on June 4, 1928, to the late Jessie E. and Lina Bell Ellis Duncan. She was the beloved mother of three sons: Charles D. Wood of Somerset, Kentucky, Owen Monroe Wease of Texas and Hamilton Wease who is deceased. She has three grandchildren, one sister, Deloris Gallegos of Pine Knot, and eight brothers: Golvin Duncan, Strunk, Earnest Buford Duncan, Pine Knot, Lester Duncan, Lynchburg, Virginia, Dester Duncan, Revelo, Kentucky, and Covie, Edgar, Roe, and Cletus Duncan who are deceased.
