Wilda Kathleen Paisley

Wilda Kathleen Paisley, 85, died Aug. 15, 2008, at The Medical Center.

The Oneida, Tenn., native was a 40-year member of Glendale Baptist Church, where she retired as the church secretary after 36 years. She loved her church and was active in all its work. She was a daughter of the late Asberry Chitwood and Mary Morgan Chitwood and the wife of the late Ruben West and Perry Paisley. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Bernard and Estel Chitwood; and two sisters, Ione Conatser and Leone Chitwood.

Funeral is at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Glendale Baptist Church. Graveside service is at 2 p.m. EDT Wednesday at Pine Knot Cemetery in Pine Knot. Visitation is from noon to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

Survivors include a son, David West of Annandale, Va.; a daughter, Mary Lynn Williams and Paul Goeman of Bowling Green; seven grandchildren, Joe David West and his wife, Amy, and Jon Andy West and his wife, Yanna, all of Rehobeth Beach, Del., Patrick Casey West, who is serving with the Marines in Iraq, Zachary David West and Savannah Morgan West, both of Annandale, Va., Shelly Kathleen Baker and her husband, Steve, of Minneapolis and John Williams and his wife, Bonnie, of Bowling Green; 11 great-grandchildren; and two nephews.
