VICKY ANN STEPHENS

Ms. Vicky Ann Stephens, age 59 of Pine Knot passed away Sunday, December 11, 2011 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. Rufus Hughes and Rev. Scotty Corder officiating. Burial will be at the T. Chitwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12 noon until funeral service time at 2:00.

Vicky was a homemaker and member of the Gum Fork Community Church. She enjoyed her being with children and playing computer games.

She was born September 1, 1952, in Jellico, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Walter McKinley and Jeanette Douglas Stephens. She is also preceded in death by a brother Oliver Stephens, a great grandchild Kayden Coffey and her former husband Dester Smiddy.

Surviving family include two daughters Pam Zorens (companion Ronald Walls) of Pine Knot and Jeanette Cox (companion Melvin Stephens) of Pine Knot. Her brothers are Thomas Gary Stephens (Anna) of Winfield, Charles Stephens (Ruby), Winfield, Walter Stephens, Jr. (Tonya), Winfield; sisters Carol South, Strunk, Shirley Stephens, Manchester, Tennessee, Mary Hill (David), Winfield, and special sister Geneda Stephens, Oneida. She had six grandchildren: Jessica (and LeBron), Roger Dale, Justin, Preston, Karissa, and Kaylee. She had three very special nieces and nephews: Jessica and Rebecca Jeffers and Robbie Godsey and three very special friends: Sandy Stephens, Carol Smiddy and Patricia Stephens.
