VERNA LOUISE STEVENS

Mrs. Verna Louise Stevens, age 48, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2008, at her home in Stearns, Kentucky. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2008, at the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Abbott officiating. Burial will be in the Heavenly Gates Cemetery. The family will received friends Monday evening after 6 p.m. at the Church. Mrs. Stevens was born in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, on July 22, 1959, the daughter of the late Duane and Alma Mitchell Boggs. She was the beloved wife of Daniel Stevens and mother of four sons, Daniel (and Robin) Stevens of Monticello, Christopher (and Nellie) Stevens of Monticello, Buddy (and Melissa) Stevens of Helenwood, Tennessee, and Dustin (and Debra) Stevens of Stearns, and two daughters Carol (and Richard) Dobbs of Stearns, and Jeannie Stevens who is deceased. She was the grandmother of seven, and the sister of Christine, Adam and John Boggs, all of Indiana, and Terry Boggs who is deceased. Pine Knot Funeral home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
