TRAVIS D. BRYANT

Travis D. Bryant age 69, of Pine Knot, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, November 4, 2006, at the lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 8, 2006, at 1:00 p.m. at the Bryant family home on the Polley Ellis Road with Bro. Manuel Meadows officiating. Burial was in the Old Pigeon Cemetery.

Born February 10, 1937, in McCreary County he was the son of the late Jackie and Roxie Taylor Bryant. He was united in marriage to Brenda Watson Bryant on November 11, 1966. Born into this union were eight children: Tommy (and Thelma) Bryant of Whitley City, Timothy (and Tammy) Bryant, of Williamsburg, Rebecca (and Joe) Phillips of Pine Knot, Davis (and Donna) Bryant of Somerset, Cathy Bryant of Pine Knot, Rita (and Johnny) Cox of Pine Knot, Sherman Bryant (deceased) and Travis Dewayne Bryant (deceased). There is an infant granddaughter that is deceased; Tommy Lynn Bryant.

Surviving brothers and sisters are Wolford (and Betty) Bryant of Lexington, Lloyd Bryant of Somerset, Bonnie (and Bill) Duston of Lexington, Fredia Kidwell of Lexington, and Fannie Shepherd of Lexington. Deceased brothers and sisters are Evelyn Litton, Mary Bryant, Marvin Bryant, and Willie Bryant. He has a very special brother-in-law Sherman Watson (that he raised as his son) and Sherman's wife Glenna.

There are 17 grandchildren: Alice, Joshua, Timothy, Rochelle, Ridge, Joseph, Sasha, Brenda, Abagail, Janie, Chellie, Colby, Jessie, Travis, Elaina, Ricky, Ladonna.

Pine Knot Funeral Home assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
