SUE CAROL BAIRD

Sue Carol Baird, age 64 of Cynthiana, KY formerly of McCreary County passed away on Sunday October 24, 2010 at her home.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. William Kilby and Bro. Harold Baird officiating. Burial will follow in the Hayes Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday after 11am until time for services at the funeral home.

Sue was born in McCreary County on January 4, 1946, daughter of the late Walter and Fronia Ramsey Baird. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by 3 brothers, Estil, Elmer and Freeman and one sister, Elizabeth Kangas.

Survivors include her husband Charles Baird who she married on March 9, 1965. They have one son David and his wife Dana of Sadieville, KY and a step grandson, Daniel Ashcraft.

TYhere are 2 brothers, Emory and Leamon Baird, and 6 sisters, Betty, Magdeline, Nina Stephens, Sally Baird, Marie Ross and Edeline King.

Sue was a retired employee of Oakwood in Somerset, of the Christian faith and a devoted wife and mother.
