Steven Ray Strunk

Steven Ray Strunk, age 53, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2016, in Strunk, Kentucky.

He was born on December 4, 1962, in Oneida, Tennessee, the son of Dillard Strunk and Billie Jean (Hamlin) Strunk. Steve is preceded in death by his parents and brother Carson Edward Brooks.

Surviving family includes his sister Anna Hamilton and husband Roger of Sawyer, Kentucky, four brothers James Ralph Brooks and wife Myrtle of Parkers Lake, Kentucky,

Gary Lee Strunk and wife Sandy of Wilmore, Kentucky, Dale Strunk of Whitley City, and Ronnie Strunk of Pine Knot.

Steve worked for Weaver Sawing and Sealing in Williamsburg, Kentucky. He enjoyed such things in life like fishing, hunting, and the greatest of all was kids.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 7, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Dan Ridener officiating.  He will be laid to rest at the Barren Fork Cemetery in Whitley City, Kentucky.  Visitation will be Monday from 12:00 noon until time for services.
