Steven Michael Perry

Steven Michael Perry age 48 of Stearns, Kentucky passed from this life on Monday, March 20, 2023 at the Big South Fork Medical Center in Oneida, Tennessee.

He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on June 29, 1974 to Barbara (Grundy) Watson. Steve was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed playing the piano, singing in church, and listening to gospel music. Steve also enjoyed playing bingo, gambling, and adult coloring books.

Steve is preceded in death by the man who raised him and he called dad, Charles "Chuck" Meeks.

Surviving family include his mother, Barbara; a son, Jacob Michael Perry (and Victoria); a brother, Doug Meeks; sisters, Juilena Watson (and Brandon Tapley) and Paula Jo Penteger; grandchildren, Jacob Michael Perry Jr. and Deseray Grundy; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 27, 2023 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Braxton King officiating. Burial to follow in the Lower Hickory Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday after 11:00 am until service time at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with the remaining funeral expenses.
