Shirley Marlow

Shirley Marlow age 78 of Pine Knot, Kentucky passed from this life on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at the Signature Health and Rehab of McCreary.

She was born in Hayes Creek, Kentucky to the late Elmer Litton and Emma (Myers) Litton. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Winfred Marlow; brothers, Clarence, Charles, Junior, J.D., and Bobby Litton; sisters, Hazel Stephens, Linda Burchell, Ruth McCarter, and Goldie Norman.

Surviving family include her sister, Sally Brown of Cleveland; brothers, AZ Litton and wife, Brenda, and Roy Litton of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews that she loved as her own, especially a great-nephew Zachary.

Shirley was a member of the Davis Hill Church of God. She enjoyed staying home and being with her family. Shirley also enjoyed shopping when she was out and even though she never had any of her own, she loved children very dearly. Shirley will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral service were held on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Clay Cook officiating. Burial was at the Hayes Creek Cemetery. The family received friends for visitation on Saturday after 12:00 noon until service time.
