SHIRLEY LYNN COFFEY

Shirley Lynn (Cooper) Coffey, born September 29, 1969, 49 years, 7 months and 8 days, passed away May 7, 2019, at her home in the Meadows Grove community of Pine Knot, Kentucky.

She leaves behind two children: Chastian Lewis (and Daniel) and Syngina Jeffers, two grandchildren: Jordana Lewis and Dominyk Lewis, her fiancé and companion of 12 years, Fordie Coffey, father: JB. Cooper, Mother: Dianna (Vanover) Lawson (and Junior), Sisters: Wilma Hale (and Brian) and Lena Haygood, a brother: Jason Lawson, special aunt: Stella Cooper (and Thurman) who loved her as a daughter, her friend Debbie Gibson, her double first cousin Michelle King (and Mike) who loved her as a sister and grew up with her, her grandmother Martha Neal, several nieces and nephews, a host of friends and other relatives.

She was a member of Round top Church and loved homemaking and spending time with family and friends.  Our loss is certainly heaven’s gain.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 10, 2019, at the Round top United Baptist Church with Bro. Edd King and Bro. Daniel Trammell officiating.  Burial will be at the Smith Cemetery at Round top.  Music will be by the church choir and serving as pallbearers  will be Brian Hughes, Jason Lawson, Dylan Haygood, Cody Haygood, Wade Garland, and Honorary pallbearers: Steve Garland and Zachary Hale.

Visitation will be at the church on Thursday after 6:00 p.m.
