SCOTTIE L. BAIRD

Mr. Scottie L. Baird, of Strunk, Kentucky passed away Saturday, June 17, 2006 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He was 35 years old.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, June 20, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. David Troxell and Rev. Harry Knieriem officiating. Burial was in the Silerville Cemetery. Born October 24, 1970, in Whitley City, Kentucky, he was the son of Leamon and Eurceline Vahle Baird. His mother precedes him in death. Surviving family include his father Leamon Baird (and Ethel) of Strunk, two brothers Rick Baird (and his wife Joyce) of Strunk, and Allen Baird (and his wife Melinda) of Whitley City, and two sisters Melissa Lawson and Shawn Baird both of Pine Knot. Also surviving his companion Dora Duncan of Strunk.

Scottie had attended the Hilltop Baptist Church. He worked for Pine Knot Lumber Company until he became disabled.
