Scott Galimore

Scott Jene Galimore age 58 of Pine Knot, Kentucky passed from this life on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at the Jean Waddle Hospice Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky.

He was born July 15, 1964 in Pine Knot, Kentucky to the late Darrell Jennings Gallimore and Anneis (Roysden) Gallimore. In addition to his parents, Scott is preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Baker, a brother, Jimmy Gallimore, and special brother-in-law, Jeff Strunk.

Surviving family include his wife, Ella (Strunk) Galimore; a son, Brian Galimore of Pine Knot; daughters, Karen Francis (and Walt) of Lexington and Becky Glenn (and Joey) of Campbellsville, Kentucky; grandchildren, Nataleigh Dabney, Braeden Dabney, and Emma Francis; and his special fur baby, "Kilo".

Also surviving are Scott's brothers, Ray Gallimore of Pine Knot, Charles Gallimore of Cincinnati, Ohio, Willie Gallimore of Pine Knot, and David Gallimore, also of Pine Knot; his sister, Darlene Worley (and Don) of Whitley City; special nieces, Joni Brooks (and Josh), Tiffany Jones (and Nathan), and Amber Stacy (and Scott); as well as several other nieces and nephews.

Scott enjoyed being outdoors. He loved going hunting and fishing, and in past time he enjoyed going to car shows. But above all things, Scott loved to spend time with his grandchildren the most. He is sadly missed by those who knew and loved him.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Boyd Rowe officiating. Burial to follow in the Gallimore Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday after 12:00 noon until service time at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made toward the remaining funeral expense.
