SARA LIZABETH WALLACE

Miss Sara Lizabeth "Libby" Wallace, passed away Monday, October 8, 2012, at the Williamsburg Health and Rehab Center in Williamsburg, Kentucky. She had attained the age of 58 years, three months and one day.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 12, 2012, at 5:30 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. David Troxell officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 4:30 p.m. until funeral service time at 5:30. She will be laid to rest at the Pine Knot Cemetery Saturday morning at 11:30.

Born on July 7, 1954, in Norwood, Ohio, she was the daughter of Charles V. and Elsie (Winchester) Wallace. Her father preceded her in death in 1996. Surviving family include her mother Elsie Wallace of Williamsburg, Kentucky, two brothers; Charles Dale (and Rosemary) Wallace of Ohio, and William Russell (and Nancy) Wallace of Norwood, Ohio, sisters Mary Sue (and John) Rogers of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Carol Ann (and Thomas) Bailey of Burnsville, North Carolina.

She was the granddaughter of the late Edward and Bertha Winchester of Stearns, Kentucky and Emerson and Verda Wallace also of Stearns.

Sara was the first student at Quest Community Services in McCreary County. She enjoyed all the activities that Quest offered. She loved sports, especially Kentucky basketball, music and singing and she liked watching TV.
