Sara Lee Jones

      Sara Lee Jones was born February 8, 1985 in Somerset, KY. to Royce Stephens and Patty Ann Shelton and entered into her Heavenly Home on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at the UK Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, KY., being 35 years, 8 months and 16 days old. 
      Sara had obtained her Certified Registered Nursing Aide degree and had worked for Somerset Nursing and Rehab, Sunrise Manor Nursing Home, and Signature Healthcare of McCreary County. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Stearns, KY. Sara loved camping, enjoying the great outdoors, and she especially loved to spend time with her family. 
     She is preceded in passing by her parents: Royce Stephens and Patty Ann Shelton; her grandparents: Mary Smith and John Archie Smith; father and mother-in-law: Rev. Charlie and Wanda (Paul) Jones; a step-daughter: Justina Marie Jones; brothers and sister-in-law: Andy Simon Jones, Melton Berry Jones, and Mary Ann Clark, and her nephew Kevin Emmanuel Jones. 
    Those left behind to cherish her memory include her husband Timothy Edward Jones, whom she married February 8, 2006; their children: Amy Marie Jones, Andy Lee Jones, Theresa Ann Jones, Kevin Anthony Jones (Colleen) and William Edward Smith (Kendrailynn), all of Somerset, KY; Darren Michael Jones (Dakota), and Jacob Allen Jones (Niesja), of Russell Springs, KY; Charlie Edward Jones (Allie) of Stearns, KY.; Wendell Scott Jones, Timothy " TJ" Jones, and Mary Jones, of Greenwood, KY; grandchildren: Richard, Tanner, Justina Elizabeth, Sophia, Wyatt, Charles, Carson, and Morgan. Two Brothers: Johnny Smith (Lois), and Archie Smith, both of Somerset, KY; and her step-father: Walter " Walt " Kelly, of Somerset, KY.
   The surviving brothers and sisters-in-law are: Mary Karen Jones of Stearns, KY, David Jones (Tosha) of Pine Knot, KY, Delphi Stephens (Sonny) of Dry Ridge, KY, Carolyn Privett (Jeff) of Somerset, KY, and Joseph Clark of Greenwood, KY, as well as a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved and cherished, many other friends and loved ones to mourn her passing. 
          Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His Saints, and we know that our loss is Heaven's eternal gain.
   Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday November 7, 2020 at 2:00pm at New Hope Baptist Church in Stearns, KY with Rev. Michael Creekmore officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday beginning at 12:00 noon until the funeral hour at the church.
