SADIE JANE SNYDER

Mrs. Sadie Jane Crabtree Snyder, age 70, of Stearns, passed away Friday, May 14, 2010, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 18, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Terry West officiating. Burial will be at the Angel Cemetery in Stearns. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 6 a€" 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Born January 13, 1940, in Rock Creek, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Hallie May Ledbetter Crabtree. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers Cisro, Coy and Roy Crabtree and an infant brother. Surviving family include her husband Arnold Snyder of Stearns, Kentucky, a daughter Kathy Irene (and Roy) Watters of Whitley City, and three sons Dorsey Arnold (and Sandy) Snyder of Stearns, Timothy (and Lois) Snyder of Whitley City, and Richard P. (and Pam) Snyder of Whitley City. There are three surviving brothers Woodrow and Walter Crabtree of Stearns and Wendell Crabtree of Whitley City, and six sisters; Ruth French of Greensboro, Kentucky, Ruby Eageton of Columbus, Indiana, Irene Watson of Whitley City, Kentucky, Mary Etta Lawrence of Whitley City, Gloria Spradlin of Somerset, and Rachael Waters of Pine Knot. The Snyders were blessed with 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
