RUBY KEITH WORLEY

Ruby Doris Keith Worley, age 84, of Pine Knot, Kentucky, passed away Friday, June 13, 2014, at the McCreary Health and Rehab Center in Pine Knot, Kentucky.

Funeral services were held Monday, June 16, 2014, at the hour of 4:00 in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Estel Jones officiating.  She was laid to rest at the Hickman Cemetery in Stearns, Kentucky.   

Ms. Worley was born at Yamacraw, Kentucky, on March 12, 1930 to the late Walter and Hester (Bertram) Keith.  Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her former husband and father of her children, Eney J. Worley, three brothers; Russell Edward Keith, Marvin Sylvester Keith and Thurston Ray Keith.

Family members include three daughters; Linda Douglas (husband Jerry) Pine Knot, Janet Diane Worley (husband, Rubin, Jr.) Stearns, and Kathy Lynn Worley of Barbourville, and three sons; Michael Worley (wife Pat) Pine Knot, Roy Glen Worley of Stearns, and Danny Ray Worley (wife Kathy) Stearns.  She has one surviving brother, Donald Leroy Keith (wife Judy) Whitley City, and a sister, Joyce Keith New (husband Hillery) Florence, Kentucky.  She has 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Ms. Worley was a homemaker and member of the Pleasant Rock Baptist Church.  Her favorite pastime was reading her Bible and taking walks.  She was a good cook and liked to clean everything.  She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed the company of her family more than anything.
