ROSE M COOPER

Rose Marie Cooper, age 53 of Pine Knot, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset.

Visitation will be Thursday from 6 a€" 9 p.m. at Pine Knot Funeral Home. In accordance with Mrs. Cooper's wishes, her remains will be cremated.

She was born in Baltimore, Maryland on June 8, 1958. She is the daughter of the late James Buford and Ann (Raymond) Kidd. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Marion Cooper; a son, Chanlor Domonick Cooper; brothers, James Buford Kidd, Jr., Andy and Oren Kidd.

Survivors include two sons, Marion Christopher Cooper and his wife Christine of Winfield, Tennessee and Chance Mitchell Cooper and his wife Tara of Stearns. There are five grandchildren, James, Kassie, Mack, Dylan and Lucas and a great grandchild, Blake. Rose had a twin brother Bill Kidd of Pine Knot, half brothers Joy Kidd, Ohio and Coy Kidd, Illinois, three sisters Betty (and Jim) Ridner of Whitley City, Edith (and Bill) Cox of Pine Knot and Nellie Kidd of Somerset, a half sister Gertrude Bustle, Ohio,

Rose had worked at Speedco and formerly Big Johns in Pine Knot for many years. She enjoyed crocheting, watching movies and reading. She leaves a host of friends and family who will miss her.

Pine Knot Funeral Home is assisting the family of Mrs. Rose Cooper with her funeral arrangements.
