Rosalie E. Jackson

Rosalie E Jackson, age 73, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the Baptist Health Center in Corbin, Kentucky.

Born June 4, 1951, in Toledo, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Delores (Zilenski) Miller. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by a son James “Jimmy” Jackson, Jr. and a sister Kathy Hess.

Surviving family include her husband, James Jackson of Pine Knot, a daughter, Tammy Morrow (Eric) of Pine Knot, two sisters: Aggie Hartford (Dave) of Oregon, Ohio and Jeanie Rodeheaver (Jake) of Pine Knot. There are five grandchildren: Justin Jackson, Jessica Creekmore (Justin), Karissa Jackson (Dustin), Taylor Morrow (Tanner) and Dillian Morrow (Lily), and six great grandchildren: Kinley Creekmore, Jacey Creekmore, Kenlyn Perry, Kolsen Perry, Austin Perry, and Asher Perry, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Rosalie was an accountant having last worked for H & R Block. She enjoyed football and Kentucky Basketball, playing cards and bingo, traveling to Iowa to family reunions and having her coffee. Mostly she loved the time she was able to spend with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Zachary Barbee officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Pleasant Run Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until time for services at 1:00.  In lieu of flowers, the family would like assistance to help with funeral expenses.
