ROSALEE HAMLIN

Ms. Rosalee Hamlin age 53 of Pine Knot, passed away on Wednesday September 23, 2009 at her home.

Funeral services will be Saturday September 26, 2009 at 4pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. Willis Troxell, Rev. Eddie King and Rev. Bruce Dixon officiating. Burial will follow in the Jones Cemetery at Strunk. The family will receive friends on Saturday after 1pm until time for services at the funeral home.

Born in Pine Knot, on September 30, 1955. She was the daughter of the late Kenneth King and Eva Strunk King. Her mother survives. She is also preceded in death by a brother, Lonnie Walker Jr.

Other survivors include her son Shannon Hamlin and his wife Jennifer of Pine Knot. Her best friend and faithful companion Ted Baker of Stearns, and 2 brothers, J. D. King and his wife Pearl of Rockwood, TN, and Jerry King and his wife Cathy Darlene of Stearns. She has 2 sisters, Barbara Joan McKee and her husband Eddie of Whitley City, and Zella Worley and her husband Tony of Stearns. She has a special niece, Lonnia Walker.

Rosalee had been a seamstress for OVC and was a member of the Whitley City Church of God.

Pine Knot Funeral Home is assisting the family of Ms. Rosalee Hamlin in her funeral arrangements.
