ROSA ELIZABETH RIDNER

Rosa Elizabeth Ridner, age 83, passed away Monday, April 29, 2013, at her home in Parkers Lake, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday at the Pleasant Knob United Baptist Church with Rev. Dow Goodin and Rev. Dillard Bryant officiating. Burial will be at the Rock Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 a€" 9:00 at the church.

Ms. Ridner was born August 25, 1929, in Honeybee, Kentucky, to the late Jasper and Allie (Vanover) Hicks. She is also preceded in death by her husband Earl Ridner, a son James "Red" Ridner, a brother Hobert Hicks, three sisters; Annie Ruth Ridner, Nola Ridner and Clara Head, 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Surviving family include five sons; Clinton, Clifton, Clayton, Manuel and Doyle Ray Ridner, eight daughters; Gladys Dean Head, Shirley Argabright, Mary Rollins, Zona Campbell, Dora Stanton, Terry Gale Jones, Donna Sue Ridner, all of Parkers Lake and Pauline Caldwell of London, Kentucky. She has one surviving sister, Lola Smith of Sawyer, 35 grandchildren, 80 great grandchildren and 20 great-great grandchildren.
