RONALD D. SCHROYER

Mr. Ronald D. Schroyer, of 15 Amy Lane in Stearns, passed away on Wednesday December 30, 2009 at the University o Tennessee Hospital in Knoxville. Mr. Schroyer was 58 years old.

Funeral services will be Monday January 4, 2009 at 8pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Father Mike Ramler. The family will receive friends on Monday evening after 6pm until time for services at the funeral home.

He was born in Steubenville, Ohio on December 29, 1951 to the late Richard and Marjorie Morris Schroyer. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Milton and David.

Survivors include his wife Patricia of Stearns, and 2 sons, Christopher Russell and his wife Lori of Sebastian, Florida and Blair Schroyer of Steubenville, Ohio. 2 daughters, Ashley Kegley and her husband Barrett of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky and Miranda Thompson and her husband Shawn of Follansbee, West Virginia. He has one sister, Cheryl May of Nelsonville, Ohio and 4 grandchildren.

Mr. Schroyer was the Dining Hall Supervisor at Pine Knot Job Corp and was a member of the Good Shepherd Chapel Catholic Church in Whitley City. He also served his country in the United States Navy during Vietnam.
