OBITUARY FOR RONALD BENNIE HAYES

Mr. Ronald Benny Hayes, age 56, of Pine Knot, Kentucky, passed away Friday, February 10, 2006, at the Scott County Hospital in Oneida, Tennessee.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, February 15, 2006, at 1:00 p.m. at Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Goodwin and Rev. Eddie King officiating. Burial was in the T. Chitwood Cemetery in Pine Knot where military honors were delivered by the U.S. Army. The family is to recieve friends from 6-9pm Tuesday at Pine Knot Funeral Home.

Born May 31, 1949, at Pine Knot, Kentucky, to the late William and Flonnie Barnett Hayes, he was a Pressman for the F & S Curtain Company in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was married to Faith Ann Kimble on February 23, 1985, and had recently made their home in Pine Knot, Kentucky. Ronald had proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, yard work, wood-crafting, and mushroom hunting. His most enjoyable pastime was spending time with his family and especially the grandchildren.

Besides his parents, those preceding him in death are three brothers Homer, Bruce, and Herald Hayes and three sisters, Wanda and Mary Lou Hayes and Cosetta Ferguson.

Ronald leaves behind his wife Faith Ann Hayes of Pine Knot, a daughter, Ashley Hayes of Pine Knot, and two sons Clinton Hayes and his wife Sandra of Burnside, Kentucky, and Dustin Hayes and his wife Cassandra of Gowen, Michigan. There are four grandchildren: Braden, Charlie, Elaney, and Hayley Hayes.

Surviving are three brothers, Ray Hayes (and Cindy) of Michigan, George Hayes (and Barb) of Pine Knot, Danny Hayes (and Donna) of Dayton, Ohio, and two sisters, Pearl Murphy (and Ralph) of Revelo, Kentucky, and Faye Moore of Pine Knot.

Pine Knot Funeral Home assisted the family of Mr. Ronald Hayes with funeral arrangements.
