RICK D. BAIRD

Rick Baird, age 54, of Strunk, Kentucky, passed away Friday at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky.

Rick was a loader operator for Pine Knot Lumber Company.  Working was his number one priority in life but he really enjoyed riding his side by side and being outdoors.

He was born August 1, 1961, in Jellico, Tennessee, to Leamon and Eurceline (Vahle) Baird.  He is preceded in death by his mother and a brother Scottie Baird.  Surviving family include his wife Carolyn Joyce (Angel) Baird, a brother Allen Baird of Strunk,  and two sisters: Melissa Lawson (and Robert) of Strunk, Kentucky, and Shawna Samons (and Glenn) of Whitley City.

Funeral services: 8:00 p.m. Sunday, November 22, 2015, Pine Knot Funeral Home.

Visitation: Sunday from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial: Silerville Cemetery on Monday at 10:00 a.m.
