Rev. Hughie Everett Taylor

Rev. Hughie Everett Taylor, age 83, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2008, at the U.K. Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 31, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. at the Power Pack Ministries in Williamsburg, Kentucky, with Rev. Billy Joe Lowe officiating. Burial will be in the King Cemetery in Pine Knot. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 a€" 9 p.m. at Pine Knot Funeral Home.

Mr. Taylor was and evangelist and a member of the Power Pack Ministries Church. He had been a chemical operator for Emery Industries in Ohio.

Born May 13, 1925, he was the son of the late Steve and Mary Renfro Taylor. Also preceding him in death are his wife June King Taylor who passed away August 6, 2005, and all his brothers Gordon, Howard, Bennie, Lanso, Henry and Harmon Taylor. He is survived by a daughter Sharon King (her husband John) of Corbin and a son Ronald Taylor (his wife Pauline) of Cincinnati, two grandchildren Shawn (and Renee) and Shane (and Melissa) King, and three great-grandchildren Ethan, Aidan, and Hannah King.
