Randall "Randy" Lee Slavey

Randall Lee Slavey, better known as Randy, age 53 of Warshaw, Kentucky passed from this life on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at his mother's home in Whitley City, Kentucky. He was the husband of Kristi Jean (Sims) Slavey. 

He was born April 23, 1971 in Somerset, Kentucky to William Lester Slavey and Phyllis Jean (Strunk) Slavey. 

His father precedes him in death. 

Surviving family include his wife, Kristi Jean Slavey; his mother, Phyllis Jean Halsey; a son, Lucas William Mitchell Slavey (and Kalynn); step-children, Matthew Webb and Miranda Manz; and a grandchild, Grayson Webb. 

Also surviving are Randy's brothers, Walter and Billy Slavey; sisters, Sandra Combs and Bridgett Slavey (and Jackie Neal); special nephews, Justin Taylor, Jason Slavey, Jonathon Slavey, Joshua Slavey, Walter Jr. Slavey, Larry Stephens, Jacob Privett, and Roger Crabtree; and special nieces, Tracey Crabtree, Amy Garland, Christy Daugherty, and Missy Garnett. 

Randy was a man's man. He loved being outdoors going fishing and hunting and shooting guns. He enjoyed gardening and was a landscaper by trade. Randy also liked to mechanic and work on cars. Randy also very much enjoyed attending services at the Grace & Truth Tabernacle Church where he met many friends who were like his own family. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. 

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at 12:00 noon at the Round Top United Baptist Church with Bro. Denny French & Bro. Jesse Hackler officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday after 6:00 pm at the church. 

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with remaining expenses.
