Ms. Pauline Bruce Jones King, age 76, of Kernersville, North Carolina passed away Sunday, October 22, 2006, at her home.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 28, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Taylor Ridge Cemetery.

Pauline was born in McCreary County, Kentucky, on March 27, 1930, to the late Travis Finley and Martha Jane Taylor Bruce. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a husband Earnest Jones, Jr. who died in 1962. Deceased brothers and sisters include Curtis, Ray, Roy, and Wilma Florene Bruce, Starlin Stephens, Rita Holloway and Jewell Vanover.

She has three sons, Charles Jones, and Barry Jones (wife Lisa) of Kernersville, North Carolina, and Bill Jones of Florida. There are five daughters Sherry Ruth Clark Webster (husband Robert), Patricia Diane Young (husband Kenneth) Kimberly Jones Roper, Casey Garland (husband George III) all of Kernersville, North Carolina and Tammy Lynn Jones (husband Jimmy) of Robbins, Tennessee.

Surviving brothers and sisters are Nora Murphy (husband Edward "Toad") of Stearns, Kentucky, Dorothy Thomas (husband Boyd) of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Herman Stephens (wife Charlene) of Whitley City, Kentucky. There are 19 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
