PATRICK KURT TAYLOR

Mr. Patrick Kurt Taylor, age 20, of Whitley City, Kentucky, passed from this life on Sunday, October 28, 2012.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 1, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Daniel Ridener officiating. He will be laid to rest at the Taylor Family Cemetery with military honors provided by the Army National Guard of Kentucky. The family will receive friends Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until funeral service time.

Patrick was a private first class in the Army National Guard of Kentucky and a member of the Kinne Slaven Post 115 of Stearns. He was an infantryman with Alfa Company 1/149th and served in the 2011 Operation New Dawn in Iraq. He was a 2010 graduate of the McCreary Central High School. His greatest pleasure was serving and helping defend his country.

He was born in Berlin Germany on September 16, 1992 to Arnold E. and Bianca (Brunzel) Taylor. He is preceded in death by his father. Surviving family include his mother Bianca Taylor of Whitley City, three sisters Phoeba Diana Taylor, Whitley City, Victoria Luise (and Jeremy) Whitehead, Whitley City, and Audrey Lynn Vanover, Parkers Lake, and a nephew Alek Whitehead. He also leaves behind many friends.
