PATRICIA STEPHENS

Ms. Patricia Stephens, age 57, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2012, at her home in Pine Knot.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, at 12:00 noon, in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Burke officiating. The eulogy will be given by Jimmy Ridener. She will be laid to rest at Upper Cal Hill Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 12:00.

Patricia was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards and using the computer.

Patricia was born April 24, 1955, in Whitley City, Kentucky, to the late Herman and Edith (Strunk) Stephens. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother Herman Wayne Stephens, and a sister Gail Duncan.

Surviving family include three sons; Charles Stephens, Herman Stephens (and Sue) and Derek Stephens (and Sharon) all of Pine Knot; two daughters; Madge Grant (and Larry) of Oneida, Tennessee and Dolly West (and Richard) of Rockport, Kentucky, sisters; Reva Coffey (and Tom), Pine Knot, and Joy Stephens, Pine Knot, and a brother; Floyd C. Stephens (and Zella) Pine Knot. Her "children of the heart" are Shawn Stephens, Sandra Murphy, Christina Stephens and Allen Stephens (nieces and nephews). Patricia was blessed with 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
