Norman Dean Waters

Norman Dean Waters, age 79 years, companion of Sondra Waters, of Stearns, Kentucky, died Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Jean Waddle Cancer Center in Somerset, KY.

He was born November 2, 1940 the son of the late Mitchell and Hilma Muriel )Phillips) Waters.  Norman was the former manager of the Kentucky Mountain Trio, he loved fishing, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother James Waters.

Survivors include his daughter; Kimberly and husband Rodney Hensley of Portland, IN., sons; Mickey and wife Patty Waters of Portland, IN., David and wife Cheri of Hartford City, IN., Keith and wife Joann Waters of Portland, IN., and Jay Waters of Winfield, TN., brothers; Denton and wife Karen Waters of Muncie, IN and Patrick Waters of Park City, IN., along with 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held on Friday, August 21, 2020 at 2:00 pm at the Hayes Creek Cemetery.

Pine Knot Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
