Noneda M Barnett

Noneda Barnett age 92 years, 6 months, and 21 days of Pine Knot, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2017 at the Jean Waddle Hospice Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky.

She was born August 13, 1924 in McCreary County, Kentucky to the late Floyd Stephens and Myrtle (Rowe) Stephens. Noneda was a member of the Marsh Creek Baptist Church. She devoted her time worshiping the Lord and attending church services.

In addition to her parents, Noneda is preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Barnett; daughters, Marilyn Alcorn, Goldie Neal, Pamela Lay, and Eula Phillips; brothers, Donald, Richard, Ledford, and Herman Stephens; and sisters, Eva Moore, Cathleen Campbell, Reva Stephens, and Georgie Farmer.

Surviving family include her sisters, Marie Bradley of Sidney, OH, Irene Kidd and Edna Wright, both of Pine Knot; a son-in-law, Tearl Neal also of Pine Knot; 14 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home. Burial is to follow in the Upper Cal Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6-9 pm at the funeral home.
