Noel Doloris Gallegos

Noal Doloris "Nana" Gallegos, age 94, of Pine Knot, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2014, at McCreary Health and Rehab.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 23, 2014, at 2:0 p.m., in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Ridener officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday beginning at 12:00 p.m. until funeral time. Burial will be in the Mill Spring National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. on Monday November 24, 2014.

Mrs. Gallegos was born February 26, 1920 , in Scott County, Tn., to the late Everett J. and Lina Bell Ellis Duncan. Also preceding her in death is her first husband Quincy Everett Hamlin, who is Quincy's father, husband Raul S. Gallegos ,  six Brothers Golvin, Earnest Bufford, Covie, Edgar, Roe and Cletus Duncan and a Sister Wilda Wright. Surviving family a Son George Quincy Hamlin of Pine Knot, Kentucky, two Grand Daughters Cynthia Quinn Cleary of Ferguson, Kentucky and Laura Georgann Bastecki of Lexington, Kentucky. Five Great Grandchildren include Quinton Joseph Ferrell, Abigail Irene Owens, Brendon Wade Cleary, Laurea Jade Hylton, and Victor Blake Bastecki. Two brothers Lester and Dester Duncan.

Mrs. Gallegos was retired from Lockheed Aircraft and she also enjoyed canning foods along with reading and sewing. Some of her greatest things to do in life was to garden and pick flowers out of her yard. She also enjoyed dancing with family and friends. Nana never met a stranger.
