Mickey Shane Stephens

Mickey Shane Stephens age 42 of Pine Knot, Kentucky, son of Garner and Kathy (Wilson) Stephens, passed from this life on Thursday, December 13, 2018 in Burnside, Kentucky.

Mickey is survived by his son, Logan Cade Anderson, his daughter, Madison Shay Stephens, brothers, Michael Montgomery and wife Brandy of Pine Knot, Brad and wife JoJo Stephens of Whitley City, and Roy William Stephens of Lexington, sister, Genell Jeffers and husband Darron of Oneida, TN, along with several nieces and nephews.  He had two special aunts, Denisa Hamlin and Catherine Daugherty.

He loved his kids and family, he loved family reunions and especially auctioneering for them.   He had a love for all sports and at one time coached elementary basketball.  He enjoyed being in the woods and outdoors and became a timber cutter and a licensed lumber grader by trade.  He enjoyed stock markets, farming and had a love for animals.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Marty Douglas officiating. Burial to follow in the Silerville Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday after 11:00 am until time for services.
