Mickey Lee Duncan age 55 of Strunk, Kentucky passed from this life on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at his home.
He was born October 15, 1968 in Oneida, Tennessee to the late Murray Oliver Duncan and Wilma Lee (King) Duncan. In addition to his parents, Mickey is preceded in death by a brother, David King and a grandson, Gabriel Lambert.
Surviving family include his wife, Jean (Snow) Duncan whom he married, July 28, 1990; children, Glen Juntunen (and Lisa) of Whitley City, William Juntunen also of Whitley City, Stacie Ann Lambert (and Justin) of Springfield, Tennessee, and Rachel Juntunen of Harrodsburg, Kentucky; and a grandson, Austin Lambert.
Also surviving are brothers, Jimmy Duncan of Whitley City, Junior Duncan of Williamsburg, Donnie King of Ohio, and Nicky Cox of Georgia; and sisters, Joanne Stephens (and Buddy) of Oneida, Tennessee, Linda King of Ohio, Anna Perry (Darren Stephens) of Strunk, Brenda Hill of Ohio, Carolyn Duncan of Williamsburg, Geraldine Owens (Jeff), of Somerset.
Mickey was a member of the Word of God Church. He loved going to church, going fishing and taking care of his farm and his animals. Mickey loved to be around others and making people smile. He will be deeply missed.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home. Burial to follow in the Murray-Wilson Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm at the Pine Knot Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pine Knot Funeral Home to assist with remaining expenses.
