MICHAEL ALLEN JONES

Michael Allen Jones, age 55, of Stearns, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, August 05, 2020, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.

Michael was born in Oneida, Tennessee, on September 21, 1964, to the late Roy and Marie Privett Jones. 

Surviving family include his fiancé Angela Smith of Stearns, a son Shawn Smith (and Amy) of Stearns, a sister, Judy Crabtree (and Jim) of Pine Knot, and two grandchildren: Brooklyn Smith and Joshua Smith, and other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Michael was a driver for RTEC for 18 years.  He was a member of the East Stearns Church of God.  He enjoyed working on cars and electronics and loved classic rock music.  He took great pleasure in spending time with his family and his precious grandchildren.  

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 7, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Chester New officiating.  Burial will follow at the Jesse Privett Cemetery in Strunk, Kentucky.  The family will receive friends for visitation Friday morning from 11:30 until time for services.
