Michael Edward Stephens

Michael Edward Stephens age 67 of Pine Knot, Kentucky passed from this life on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Hospital in Danville, Kentucky. 

He was born September 17, 1956 in Muncie, Kentucky to the late Harold Stephens and Hilda Geraldine (Richardson) Stephens. 

In addition to his parents, Michael is preceded in death by his brothers, Dale Stephens, Donald "Donnie" Stephens, David Stephens, and Martin "Marty" Stephens; and sisters, Teresa Guinn, Peggy Quinn, Thelma Joann Smith, Kimberly Mae Brock, and Sally "Jennie" Stephens. 

Michael leaves behind a son, Mykel Stephens (and Jacklyn) and a daughter, Rebecca Marie Hobe. 

Michael traveled many miles as a truck driver, hauling freight for many years. He loved traveling and the scenery. He will be sadly missed. 

Per his request, Michael was cremated and will be laid to rest with his family in Pine Knot.
