MICHAEL JUNIOR CONRAD

Michael Junior Conrad, age 55, of Whitley City, Kentucky, passed from this life on Thursday, May 28, 2015, in Monticello, Kentucky.

Mike was born in Clay County, Kentucky, on September 8, 1959, to the late Charles and Carlee (Witt) Conrad.  Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers; Johnny Conrad and Roger Conrad and his father-in-law Otis Kennedy.

Surviving family include his wife Deborah (Kennedy) Conrad of Monticello, Kentucky, four brothers; Lewis (and Tabitha) Conrad of Nicholasville, Kentucky, Rocky (and Shonda) Conrad of Lexington, Gordon (and Margaret) Conrad of Lexington, David (and Sara) Conrad of Lexington, and two sisters; Angel (and Johnny) Martin of Lexington and Dorothy Conrad also of Lexington and his mother-in-law Beatrice Kennedy of Somerset, Kentucky.

Mike had worked as a tobacco farmer for many years and was a member of the City of Refuge Church. 

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 1, 2015, in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Eddie King and Bro. Steve Stephens officiating.  Burial will be at the Lower Hickory Grove Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday from 11:00 a.m. until time for services.
