Maxine Stephens, age 78, of Revelo, Kentucky entered into glory on Wednesday December 24, 2014 at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky.
Mrs. Stephens was a homemaker and member of the City of Refuge Christian Fellowship.
Born in Revelo, Kentucky, on April 28, 1936, she was the daughter of the late John and Ida Elizabeth (Crabtree) Ridener. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Clyde Stephens, five brothers Balford, Jim, Arch, Herb, and John Jr., three sisters Alma Kidd, Ethel Browning, and Clara Cox.
Surviving family include two sons Allen Ridener (and Sandy) pf Trinton, Ohio, Daniel Stephens (and Angel) of Stearns, Kentucky. Daughters Betty Jo Clark (and Gary), Karen Brunett (and Shawn) both of Stearns, Kentucky, Donna Corder (and Billy) of Somerset, Kentucky. She has 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Also surviving are many nephews and nieces who she loved very much.
Maxine enjoyed visiting, shopping, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 6:00pm in the chapel of the Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Pace officiating whom she loved very much.Special music was by Tim Duncan and family. Burial wason Sunday December 28, 2014 at 11:00am in the Lower Hickory Grove Cemetery in Stearns, Kentucky.
