Maxine W. Crabtree

Maxine Watson Crabtree age 74 of the Revelo Community passed from this life on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at her home. 

She was born April 9, 1946 in Bald Knob, McCreary County, Kentucky to the late Dillard Lee Watson and Pearl Mae (Ross) Watson. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers, Carroll Dennis Watson and Jerry Watson, and a sister, Jean Dolen. 

Surviving family include her husband, Roger Crabtree, whom she married June 5, 1971; sons, Don Crabtree and wife, Melissa, of Revelo, Michael Crabtree and wife, Kathy, of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, Allen Crabtree and wife, Tonya, of Oneida, Tennessee; her daughter, Alice Trammell of Stearns; a brother, Leo Dolen of Stearns; and sisters, Irene King of Revelo, Jo Gibson of Whitley City, Faye Watson of Jamestown, Tennessee, Sue Waters of Resaca, Georgia, and Misty Beaty of Jamestown. 

Also surviving are grandchildren, Heather Crabtree, Brandon Crabtree, Brittany Troxell, Emily Hoskins, Megan Trammell, Kimberly Crabtree, Dustin Crabtree, and Hailey Crabtree, and great-grandchildren, Jayce and Aubree Tippery, Winter and Alexander Troxell, Londyn Hoskins, and Jayden and Camden Crabtree, that Maxine loved dearly. 

 
Maxine was a member of the Old Beech Grove Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, quilting, and working in her flower garden. Maxine loved caring for her family and spending her time with each of them, especially her grandbabies. She will be sadly missed. 

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 4, 2020 at 11:00 am in the chapel of McCreary County Funeral Home. Burial is to follow in the Lower Hickory Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday after 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
