MATTHEW N. CORDELL

Matthew N. Cordell, age 34, passed from this life on Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at the Pioneer Community Hospital of Scott in Oneida, Tennessee.

He was born in Somerset, Kentucky, on October 6, 1981, the son of Eddie and Regina Davis Cordell.  He is preceded in death by his mother, maternal grandparents: Nelson and Cat Davis, and paternal grandparents, Loyd “Pete” and Sadie Cordell.

Surviving family include his father Edward “Eddie” Cordell of Revelo, two daughters: Amilia Cordell of Keavy, Kentucky and Kylie Cordell of Slavens, Kentucky, and two brothers: Nathaniel Cordell and Seth Cordell, both of Revelo, Kentucky.

Matthew was self-employed.  He enjoyed woodworking with a woodburner, swimming, fishing and being in the great outdoors.

Funeral services:  2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Pine Knot Funeral Home

Rev. David Troxell officiating. 

Burial: Lower Hickory Grove Cemetery

Visitation: Saturday from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m.
