Mary Alene Meadows

Mary Alene Meadows age 79 of Radcliff, Kentucky passed from this life at her home on Tuesday, July 2, 2019.

She was born on March 14, 1940 in Savoy, Kentucky to the late Andy Oscar Ball and Reba Elizabeth (Towe) Ball. In addition to her parents, Alene is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Andrew Meadows, a brother, Paul Daniel Ball, and an infant sister, Sarah Ball.

Surviving family include her daughter, Melissa Rodriguez (and husband, Rene) of Radcliff, Kentucky; brothers, Gene Arthur Ball, Luther Lawrence Ball, and Billy Ray Ball (and wife, Lena); a sister, Imogene King (and husband, Charles); several nieces and nephews; and a special great-niece, Chelsey King.

Alene was a past member of the Hill Top Missionary Baptist Church and the Meadow Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed many hobbies such as cross stitching, singing in church, working word puzzles and flower gardens.

Funeral service will be held Monday, July 8, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. David Troxell and Rev. Mike Neal officiating. Burial to follow in the Osborne Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation after 1:00 pm until service time at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the funeral home is assist with funeral expense.
