Mary Magdalene Baltimore Knieriem

Mary Magdalene Baltimore Knieriem age 85 of Pine Knot, Kentucky, passed from this life on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at the Saint Joseph of London Hospital. 

She was born August 20, 1934 in McCreary County, Kentucky to the late Walter Baird and Fronnie (Ramsey) Baird. 

In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death her first husband and father of her children, Robert “Bob” Baltimore; second husband, Marcus Harry Knieriem; an infant son, James Edward Baltimore; her brothers, Elmer, Emory, Estel, Leamon, and Fremon Baird, and sisters, Nina Stephens, Edline King, Elizabeth Kangas, and Sue Baird.

Surviving family include her children, Roger Dale Baltimore (and Jane) of Cincinnati, Ohio, Bryan Baltimore (and Barbara) of Charleston, South Carolina, Robert Baltimore of Vilonia, Arkansas, Yvonnie Jo Powers (and Frellin) of Cleveland, Ohio, and Pamela Bowles of Pine Knot, Kentucky; and sisters, Sally Baird, Betty Craft, and Marie Ross.

Also surviving are 15 grandchildren, Jill, Nick, Barbie, Scott, Maggie, Julie, Kaitlyn, Tina, Jennifer, Courtney, Josh, James, Chris, and Hunter; 22 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends that Mary loved dearly.

 
Mary was a longtime member of the Hayes Creek Church of God. She faithfully attended and enjoyed doing the works of her Lord. She was a homemaker who enjoyed caring for her family, cooking, quilting, and sewing. When she was able, she also enjoyed going fishing. The passing of Mary is mourned by all who knew and loved her. She will be sadly missed.

 
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Perry officiating. Burial is to follow in the T Chitwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
