MARILYN MURPHY MATHIAS

Mrs. Marilyn Murphy Mathias, age 70 of Dunn, North Carolina, and formerly of Pine Knot, passed away on Wednesday February 10, 2010 at the Betsy Johnson Regional Hospital in Dunn, North Carolina.

Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday morning at 10:00 in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Perry officiating. Burial will follow in the Double Springs Cemetery in Waynesburg, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6 until 8.

She is survived by her children, Marshelle Dalton and companion Timothy Barefoot of Dunn, NC and Dan Johnson and his wife Jill of Sacramento, CA. She has 3 grandchildren, Kristi Johnson Lloyd and her husband Adam, Anna Chuhran and her husband Avery and Todd Johnson. There are 2 great grandchildren, Lily and Lucas Chuhran.

She has 3 brothers, Paul Murphy, Bobby Murphy and his wife Donna and David Murphy and his wife Jeannie, and a sister, Dorothy Chambers and her husband Bill.

Preceding her in death is a sister, Virginia Lay and 2 brothers, Dallas and Gerald Murphy.

Marily had worked at some local convenience stores in the Dunn Erwin, North Carolina area including Mclamb's Party Beverage and Dash Mart.
